About

I’m a 23-year-old writer with big dreams. I recently just graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in journalism and a minor in women’s studies.

I’ve been a storyteller since the day I learned how to write. A couple of years ago, I decided to pursue a long-time dream of mine and I began writing my autobiographical book called “You Can’t Make This S**t Up.” It’s a collection of true short stories about my search for “prince charming” and the disastrous dating experiences I’ve encountered along the way.

I started this blog so that I could share some excerpts from my book before I attempt the difficult and frustrating publishing process. I really want to get some feedback from other writers and an audience other than my subjective family and friends. So please feel free to let me know what you honestly think of my work. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! I will also be posting just random crap that I write- crap that’s not in my book, but similar to the crap in my book.

Anyways, I think many of you will be able to relate to some of my unfortunate dating experiences… Or maybe they’ll make you feel better about your own lousy love life… And if none of the above, hopefully you’ll have a good laugh!

Thanks for visiting! 🙂
